Chief Pollen, Bub and Bib quickly went to the place where police slime Joe is. Joe pointed to what seemed to be a clue. A tree had sword marks and on the tree were blood stains.
“It seems that someone else hit the human that you took back.” said Chief Pollen. Bub and Bib agreed. Bub and Bib told the chief that the human may still be at Dr.Blob. They asked if he could come with them to see the human.
The Chief agreed and followed Bib and Bub to Dr.Blob’s clinic. But once they reached there, they found that it is closed. “But Dr.Blob’s clinic wasn’t suppose to close before eight o’clock at night.” Said Bib. This made Bib and Bub very suspicious about Dr.Blob. They were very uncertain of whether Dr.Blob has a part in the strange happening.
“Why don’t we get some food first? I am starving right now.” Said Bib. Bub agreed with Bib and they both went home for dinner. “Hey Bib, since it’s getting late, why don’t I stay at your house and sleep here tonight?” asked Bib. “OK, my mum agrees to that, but you must call your folks before we go to bed.” replied Bub.
The next day, Bub and Bib woke up and ate breakfast together. Then they went to Dr.Blob’s clinic. When they reached there, they asked the receptionist for assistance. Bub asked to see where Dr.Blob is and also where the human is. “I’m sorry but……” “But what?” interrupted Bib.
“They’ve disappeared!”
